Why tones matter

Same letters. Different meanings.

Yorùbá has three tones: high, mid and low. Change the tone and you change the word. Abidii trains your ear and teaches you to read the tone marks.

Tones: Do = low, Re = mid, Mi = high. Marks: à = Do, a = Re, á = Mi.
